INTEGRIS Southwest Medical Center has been a part of the southwest Oklahoma City community since 1965 – first as South Community Hospital. The name was changed to Southwest Medical Center of Oklahoma in March 1992, and then it became INTEGRIS Southwest Medical Center in February 1994. We have grown from a 73-bed community hospital to a comprehensive medical center offering a full range of services with nearly 400 beds.
At INTEGRIS Southwest, we practice the most challenging healing. INTEGRIS Jim Thorpe Rehabilitation Hospital is among the best rehabilitation hospitals in the nation and the first choice of the National Football League. Through a partnership with the MDA, the INTEGRIS MDA/ALS Neuromuscular Center, the only center of its kind in Oklahoma, offers a multidisciplinary approach to comprehensive evaluation and treatment of MDA disorders. The Stroke Center of Oklahoma at INTEGRIS Southwest educates the public about recognizing signs and symptoms of stroke, while coordinating care with clinical staff to treat stroke immediately so that we provide patients with complete care from the Emergency department to rehabilitation.
Nearly 1,600 babies a year take their first breaths in the Special Additions Women’s Center. Our Southwest Breast Health and Imaging Center screens for breast cancer with advanced technology and a personal touch, while our Central Oklahoma Cancer Center offers the most advanced forms of cancer diagnoses and treatment along with support services to treat the whole family. Our Sleep Disorders Center of Oklahoma was the first fully accredited sleep disorder center in Oklahoma City.
INTEGRIS Southwest is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospitals . We also are members of the American Hospital Association (AHA) and the Volunteer Hospitals of America (VHA).
