INTEGRIS Occupational Medicine

According to one estimate, lost productivity from injury and illness costs American companies $60 billion each year. To have a healthy bottom line, businesses need healthy workers.

Preventing, diagnosing and treating injuries that occur in the workplace is the primary responsibility of an occupational health clinic. When the injury is minor, this care is hands-on. For more serious conditions, the clinic may provide referrals or case management.

INTEGRIS Bass offers one of the most comprehensive occupational medicine programs available. The hospital has been providing occupational health services to Northwest Oklahoma since 1993.

One function of occupational health is to provide pre-placement physicals. These physicals are to assure companies that new employees can fit the requirements of the job description.

Other services provided by the clinic include:

  • Employee drug screenings
  • Breath alcohol tests
  • Hearing tests
  • Pulmonary function tests
  • Medical respiratory evaluation
  • Physical exams for pre-placement, truck drivers, FAA, and hazardous material

  • Injury management and referrals when necessary
  • On site medical review officer
  • X-ray services
  • TB Test
  • EKG
  • Lead Level screening
  • 1st, 2nd and 3rd class FAA

Physical therapy and diagnostic services are also available as well as specialist referrals.

Our Team

We know that one of the most crucial elements of work-related injury management involves continual communication with the employer, employee and the insurance carrier. Our team is successful in communicating with all of these entities.

The clinic also partners with businesses to try and return an employee to work with limited or modified activity instead of keeping the employee home.

The clinic is staffed with physicians, mid-level providers, nurses and administrative coordinators.
