INTEGRIS Meadowlake has served Enid and Northwest Oklahoma since 1986. The 50-bed facility currently houses three different units designed to meet the needs of children ages 5-12, adolescents ages 13-17 and dually diagnosed adolescents ages 13-17.
All treatment programs are supervised by a Board Certified Psychiatrist, licensed therapist, RNs and trained mental health specialists. Each patient has his or her case reviewed weekly by a multidisciplinary treatment team to discuss progress, determine discharge planning and other treatment options if necessary.
Every patient participates in weekly individual, family and group therapy. Patients also regularly participate in expressive/art therapy and recreational activities. Each program is led by licensed or certified personnel. Our campus offers plenty of recreational activities. We also maintain numerous indoor and outdoor play areas for the patients, including a gym, basketball courts and playground equipment.
During the school year, educational services are provided according to the State of Oklahoma regulations by the Enid Public School System. Teachers work closely with each patient's school system to provide each child with a program of education designed especially for their individual needs.
Each of these programs offer two levels of intervention: Acute level 1 and Acute level 2 treatment services.
Acute Inpatient provides the highest level of care to children and adolescents who display behaviors dangerous to themselves and/or others. Acute level 2 provides treatment stabilization to those patients with psychiatric, emotional and behavioral problems.
This specialty unit accepts adolescents with multiple diagnosis of developmental disabilities paired with emotional disorders. The program is designed to reduce symptoms of disorders and socially inappropriate behavior.
