The hand surgery center provides care for patients of all ages from the newborn to the centenarian and everyone in between including children with congenital musculoskeletal anomalies, adolescents with sports injuries, adults with cumulative trauma disorders and senior patients with geriatric upper extremity conditions.
The hand surgery center also provides care for patients from all walks of life including weekend warriors with overuse conditions, athletes with sport injuries, workers with industrial and occupational diseases and retirees with arthritic disorders.
Patients at the INTEGRIS Hand and Microsurgery Center are provided a full spectrum of state-of-the-art care of hand and upper-extremity surgery for acute injuries, post-traumatic reconstruction and chronic diseases.
The INTEGRIS Hand and Microsurgery Center, under the direction of program director and hand surgeon Ghazi M. Rayan, M.D., is home of the first and only hand surgery fellowship program in Oklahoma that accepts fellow applicants after completing their orthopedic and plastic surgery training, to engage in a one year fellowship accredited by the ACGME. Teaching and research, both clinical and basic science, in the field of hand and upper extremity surgery are constantly evolving at the center and contributing to the advancement of patient care.
New patient visits are longer than established so be prepared for this on your initial visit. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to finalize paperwork in the office. Please bring a list of your medications with you so they can be reviewed. If you have medical records or X-ray films or CDs from other physicians, please bring them with you. We can send a records request to another office, but it may take a while before the information is returned to us. If you have questions for your physician, we welcome written lists. If you are already seeing any specialists please bring a list of the physicians you see.
We will need a copy of your insurance card and a photo ID. If the patient is a child, we need a copy of the insurance card and a photo ID of the parent or legal guardian. The billing department requires that you provide any insurance co-payment on the date of service, so please come prepared. Check, cash, and major credit/debit cards are accepted.
