Born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya, Dennis grew up in Plano, TX, and went on to receive his Bachelor of Human Sciences in Kinesiology, with dual minors in Business Administration and Theater from the University of Tennessee in 2015. He proceeded to work professionally for 3 years in physical therapy and progressively in managerial positions, including at MedStar Health, prior to and through his enrollment in the executive MBA program at The George Washington University in Washington, DC. To complement his work and graduate schooling, Dennis was also the co-chair of the junior board of directors for a non-profit which served underprivileged youth in the DMV, and in 2018 he received an Advocate Award from St. John's Community Services. In December 2021 he graduated with an MBA and dual graduate certificates in Healthcare Quality and Strategic Management, then subsequently began his Strategy Fellowship in February at INTEGRIS Health. In his free time, Dennis enjoys watching movies and performing in plays, playing soccer, and spending time with his family.
